New research shows that young families with children under five could be a vital element for church growth.
The Talking Toddlers community was created following research commissioned by Hope Together, the Church of England, and the Evangelical Alliance in spring 2020. It exists to bring toddler group leaders together to bless, support, and equip them in their ministry.

Our quarterly webinars offer a space to connect with others involved in mission to young families, sharing ideas, finding encouragement, and being equipped through inspiring guest speakers.
Each 90-minute session focuses on a theme relevant to toddler groups, explored through speaker insights, breakout discussions, storytelling, and resource sharing.

The Talking Toddlers report, released in May 2020, shows that 74% of all parents with children under the age of five attended a church-run activity in the past year — presenting a huge missional opportunity for the Church.
This research was commissioned by HOPE Together, the Church of England, and the Evangelical Alliance to highlight the potential for sustained church growth when the Church nurtures the faith of under-fives and their parents.
